J Brix Wines was founded in 2012 and operates from a tasting room in San Marcos. The program makes small quantities of many different wines. The room opens Thursday by appointment, Friday and Saturday from 4 to 9pm, and Sunday from 3 to 7pm. Cheese, charcuterie, nuts, olives, crackers, and tinned fish are available.
