About
Inland Ocean Vineyards & Winery plants 1400 grapes with support structures on its Hutchinson property. Pruning demands approximately 200 hours and 50,000 cuts annually. Shoot thinning in May takes another 40 hours. Each year, roughly 2,000 lbs of old vine are removed. Harvest unfolds over 6 to 9 days. Every bottle comes from grapes grown on the estate. Grapes are crushed, pressed, and refrigerated to allow bulk sediment to settle. Throughout fermentation, the program monitors sugar content, acid, pH, and sulfur.
