Artisan Winery is a small producer in the village of Gurjaani, Kakheti, whose founders began winemaking together in 2016 after several years of work in economics and viticulture. The winery produces qvevri wine blending traditional methods with European knowledge, working with Saperavi and Kisi grapes for its qvevri wines and Tavkveri for a rose. It farms just over 3 hectares, producing up to 6,000 bottles annually and is not yet represented in the U.S. market.
