About
Winery Georgino was founded in 2018 in Mtskheta by young winemaker Giorgi, then still a university student, after receiving a grant from the 'Produce in Georgia' program to build a small cellar at his house. He farms 0.5 hectares plus purchased grapes from approved micro-zones, making both traditional Kakhetian-method qvevri wines and classical-method wines, including a Tsolikouri that won a bronze medal at the International Qvevri Wine Competition.
