About
Makharebeli Winery is based in Vazisubani village, Gurjaani Municipality, Kakheti, in the Alazani River Valley. Its founders have grown grapes and made wine since 1999, formally establishing the Makharebeli label in 2009 on a 2.5-hectare vineyard in the foothills. The winery produces natural, bioorganic wine using traditional Georgian methods, made entirely organically.
