Iases Marani was founded in 2016 in the village of Kakabeti, Sagarejo Municipality, in Kakheti's Manavi micro-zone at 700 meters elevation, continuing wine production the family has practiced for over 70 years. The winery is a member of the Natural Wine Association and dry-farms 4.9 hectares without irrigation using organic methods. It is not yet represented in the U.S. market.
