Freya's Marani is the natural-wine project of Enek Peterson, an American winemaker who moved to Georgia and founded her own winery in 2015 in the village of Persati, Baghdati Municipality, Imereti region. She is a member of Georgia's Natural Wine Association and works by hand near the Khanistskali River in Imereti's humid subtropical climate. Peterson also works at the Vino Underground wine bar in Tbilisi.
