About
Nelkarisi Winery is located in Village Shilda, Kvareli Municipality (Kakheti), built on the ancient site of Nelkarisi dating to the first century. Its vineyards, planted in 2001, lie in the Kindzmarauli micro-zone between the Alazani and Durudji Rivers, with grapes handpicked and transported in small wooden baskets. The winery works alongside its associated Friend's Cellar and Ikano labels.
