About
A small family winery in the village of Melaani, Kakheti region, run by Valo Imerlishvili, whose grandfather Sosia was among the first in the village to plant a vineyard, in the early 20th century. Grapes are fermented on their skins and stems for 21 days per the traditional Kakhetian method, and the winery currently produces only Rkatsiteli.
