Telavi Wine Cellar (branded MARANI) was founded in 1915 just outside Telavi in Kakheti, overlooking the Alazani River Valley, drawing on Kondoli Vineyards that a 1745 Georgian historical text already cited as a source of noble wines. Production combines modern equipment (stainless steel tanks, pneumatic presses) with oak vats, barriques, and traditional qvevri clay vessels, yielding labels such as Rkatsiteli, Rkatsiteli-Mtsvane, and Saperavi, plus a Satrapezo 10 Qvevri wine in its Single Vineyard Range. The winery offers wine tours.
