About

Founded in 2017, Mareli Winery is a small family-owned winery in the village of Telavi, Telavi Municipality, Kakheti region, in the foothills of the Gombori Mountain Range overlooking the Alazani River Valley. Following centuries-old Kakhetian qvevri traditions, it harvests Rkatsiteli, Saperavi, and Kakhuri Mtsvane from vineyards in the village of Napareuli, producing about 10,000 bottles a year from a 10-hectare vineyard. The wine cellar is located on the ground floor of Telavi's Hotel Tela, near visitor accommodations.
