About
Rtoni is a Kakheti winery founded in 2017 in the village of Ruispiri (Telavi/Akhmeta area) by winemaker Giorgi Skhirtladze, a former lawyer, using traditional qvevri fermentation alongside minimal-intervention techniques. It grows indigenous varieties including Rkatsiteli, Kisi, Khikhvi and Saperavi alongside Gewurztraminer, Muscat Hamburg and Sauvignon Blanc across vineyards in the Tsinandali and Akhmeta appellations.
