Georgian Wine House was founded in 1996 in Gori and is based in the village of Kvareli, Kvareli Municipality, in Georgia's Kakheti region, in the foothills of the Caucasus Mountains overlooking the Alazani River Valley. It produces wine within the Gurjaani and Kvareli appellations using traditional qvevri techniques said to date back more than 8,000 years, combined with modern winemaking equipment.
