G.Wine was established in 2012 in the village of Kondoli, Telavi Municipality, Kakheti, by three wine enthusiasts who began commercial production in 2013 after presenting experimental batches at festivals. To guarantee high quality the makers opted for limited production and focused on exceptional terroirs, and in 2016 built a new marani (wine cellar), since when the winery has focused on producing white wines with skin contact in qvevri.
