Aguna Georgian Wine Company traces to 1882, when the Nanеishvili brothers built a wine cellar in Gurjaani, Kakheti, and it has used traditional qvevri fermentation for over 130 years. The winery now owns more than 25 hectares of vineyard and produces regional appellation wines including Akhasheni, Gurjaani, Kindzmarauli, Mukuzani, and Tsinandali, exporting internationally though not yet to the U.S.
