About

Iago's Wine is a bio-certified organic producer in the village of Chardakhi, Mtskheta region, established in 2003 by winemaker Iago Bitarishvili. The estate farms 60-year-old vines exclusively of the Chinuri grape across two hectares in the Mukhrani Valley, using traditional qvevri fermentation, and was the first winery in Georgia to receive a Bio Certificate in 2005. Iago personally leads cellar tours and tastings by advance reservation, and a guesthouse is available on-site.
