About
Haritatos Estate sits in Kladata, on the island of Cephalonia, rooted in Venetian heritage through Carito Typaldo Caritato. The vineyard took its current shape in 1863. After years of dormancy, the program has been revived, now producing wines from indigenous Kefalonia varieties, Moschato, Vostylidi, and Mavrodafni, cultivated organically. The signature work is Mademoiselle Haritatou, a mavrodafni matured in stainless steel without barrel contact. Drink it chilled as a summer red, or cellar it for later. The old press facility has become a modern winery boutique.
