About
Anoskeli is located in Crete. The Mamidakis siblings founded a petroleum company in Athens in the 1960s but returned to their roots in Cretan agriculture. In the 1980s, they established Anoskeli SA and purchased the old village olive mill, which was renovated with modern machinery. A fully automated bottling plant opened in 2004 and expanded in 2009. A 600 square meter winery was completed in 2009. The family owns 2,888 olive trees and 17,000 square meters of vineyards. Anoskeli has won silver medals at the New York International Olive Oil Competition and four silver medals at the international BIOL competition for organic extra virgin olive oils.
