About

Two estates joined together as Hugl-Wimmer, built in 2014 in Poysdorf. Martin trained at AGRO-HAK Agricultural College and has been responsible for quality control in vineyard and cellar since 2007. Sylvia graduated from HBLA for Wine and Fruit Production at Klosterneuburg. Vineyards are located within three kilometers of town, across named sites including Waldberg, Zapfersberg, Rösselberg, Hermannschachern, Junge Geringen, and Alte Geringen. The portfolio includes Poysdorfer Saurüssel, Weinviertel DAC, and Weinviertel DAC Reserve from Rösselberg. White wines ferment at cool temperatures in stainless steel. Reds ferment on skins and mature in large oak casks.
