Julio Camsen's childhood memories of working the vineyards with his grandfather and father led him to find the perfect spot near Volcán Tupungato at 1,400 meters elevation in the Gualtallary valley, where Huentala was born in 2010. Fed by pure Andean snowmelt and crafted by winemaker Pepe Morales, their 230-hectare estate focuses on Malbec grown in that rarefied mountain air. Hit them up for tastings and dinner at their on-site restaurant.
