Horseshoe Bend Cellars Vineyard and Winery

About

Horseshoe Bend Cellars sits between the Wichita River and Horseshoe Lake in Iowa Park, Texas. Linda and Scott Poenitzsch purchased the vineyard in fall of 2017, establishing a family-owned operation that produces Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon, Chardonnay, Riesling, Sangiovese, and Zinfandel. The tasting room welcomes visitors and their dogs. A $10 tasting includes four wines and two chocolate sauces, while the $15 flight adds a mini charcuterie plate. The banquet suite opens onto a balcony overlooking the vineyard. The winery features oak barrel aging, fermentation tanks, and bottling rooms. The wine club carries no joining fee and offers 10% discounts on merchandise and up to five bottles, or 15% off six or more.
