Hook & Ladder Wine Co. occupies a National Landmark building from 1884 at 616 7th Street in Wichita Falls. Bill Weske, a retired Assistant Fire Chief with 33 years of service, and Lauri Weske, a nurse, own and operate the space. The business was founded through a shared vision with Jon and Pam Reese. The first urban winery in the area, it has been voted Wichita Falls' Best Wine bar since 2018. The program includes small-batch, artisan-roasted coffee in-house, NITRO Cold Brewed Coffee, artisan flatbreads, and charcuterie platters.
