Henscratch Farms Vineyard & Winery

About

Henscratch Farms Vineyard & Winery planted its first vines in 1999 in Lake Placid, Florida. The first crush of Muscadine and Scuppernong grapes came in August 2003, with the first bottlings that November. The winery operates from a converted agricultural grain bin, producing seven styles of country wines from these native varietals. The Strawberry Port reaches 20% alcohol, while the Raspberry Southern Sippin' ferments to 16%. Visitors can taste in the tasting room or pick their own Muscadine and Scuppernong grapes from the vineyard.
