Hellmer

About

Reinhard Hellmer works Fels am Wagram's deep loess soils, the foundation for white wines in the Wagram region. Hand-harvested in small buckets, grapes from the top vineyard sites Mitterweg and Steinagrund are selectively picked two to three times over. The program eschews artificial fertilizers, herbicides, and insecticides. Most vineyard work happens by hand. The Grüner Veltliner L + T arrives light-footed with depth, juicy-charming fruit and typical spice. Grüner Veltliner Laura carries the name of the winemaker's daughter. The portfolio also includes Roter Veltliner and Rosé.
