About Hayfork

Hayfork Wine Company, located in Napa Valley, initially specialized in Cabernet Sauvignon sourced from the historic Lewelling Vineyard in St. Helena. Over time, the winery expanded its offerings to include various wines from this vineyard, as well as unique varietals like Grenache Blanc. The Lewelling Vineyard, one of the oldest family-owned properties in Napa, was established in 1864 by John Lewelling and has a rich history, including a transition from grape growing to walnut farming due to phylloxera in the late 1800s.

The winery is operated by Erik Dodd and Haley Wight, with Haley serving as the winemaker. She has a deep connection to the land, having grown up on the property. Hayfork produces a range of wines, including limited varietals like Charbono and Grenache Blanc, alongside several Cabernet Sauvignon blends. The tasting experience emphasizes the quality of fruit sourced from Lewelling Vineyard, which is sought after by top producers. Visitors can expect a selection of well-crafted wines that showcase the unique terroir of the region, with a focus on both traditional and lesser-known varietals.
