Greil sits in Straning, in the western Weinviertel, on approximately 6 hectares of vineyard. The family has been making wine here since 1618, when Georg and Waltpurga Grayl founded the estate. Andreas Greil, the 12th generation, now leads the program. The cellar itself is 250 years old. In the vineyard, no insecticides or herbicides are used. The portfolio centers on Grüner Veltliner, Weißburgunder, and Muscaris, with AUREUS, the Weinviertel DAC, and Muscaris Orange among the notable releases.
