Grassy Mountain Vineyard is a family-owned operation across 86 acres in Afton and Swoope, Virginia, spanning both the Monticello and Shenandoah Valley AVAs. Vines first went in at Swoope in 2016, followed by Afton in 2019. The tasting room opened in 2021 and now hosts guided tastings Monday through Sunday, plus private tastings by request. The wine club carries no membership fee and releases quarterly selections in February, May, August, and November, available in 3, 6, or 12-bottle tiers. The vineyard also hosts weddings and private events.
