About GlenWood Vineyards
GlenWood is a Franschhoek wine farm established in 1984, renowned for outstanding quality wines with Chardonnay as its flagship cultivar achieving numerous awards including Platter 5 stars. Guests can taste wines alongside world-class gourmet sushi on a shaded oak tree terrace while enjoying breathtaking mountain and vineyard scenery.

Wine Tasting
Personal tasting of wines guided by wine ambassadors who describe the wines and tasting approach to build confidence in discussing conclusions.
Vine to Wine Tour
90-minute tour starting in vineyards learning about viticultural practices and tasting wines from specific blocks, then in the cellar learning about crushing, fermentation, maturation and bottling with further tastings and barrel tasting. R600 per person, offered Tuesday-Sunday at 12:00 and 15:00.
Wine & Fynbos
Unique experience of a short walk or drive through diverse Cape fynbos, part of the Cape Floral Kingdom, with wine tasting in Nature's Window, a tasting room in the mountain offering panoramic views of Franschhoek Mountains and Robertsvlei Valley.
Gourmet Sushi
Sumptuous gourmet sushi lunch prepared by Master Sushi Chef, available since 2020 with numerous accolades for superb menu and excellent service.
