About
Founded in 1987 in Göttlesbrunn-Arbesthal, east of Vienna, on 4.5 hectares. Today the winery ships 250,000 bottles annually around the world. Walter Glatzer runs the estate with his family, wife Doris, daughter Hanna, son Mathias, and Falstaff magazine named him one of the qualitative driving forces of the Carnuntum region. The portfolio centers on Zweigelt Dornenvogel, the flagship, alongside premium bottlings Blaufränkisch Bernreiser and St. Laurent von Altenberg. Since the 2018 harvest, the estate has worked toward organic certification.
