About Germuth Heidi und Herbert
Three generations, Stefan, Herbert, and Heidi, work the cellar in Leutschach, in Südsteiermark's wine country. Stefan trained at Weinbauschule Silberberg and Weinmanagementlehrgang in Krems before taking over cellar operations. The program spans Welschriesling, Weissburgunder, Sauvignon Blanc, Grauburgunder, Morillon, Rheinriesling, and Muskateller, organized into three lines. SPEER holds regional wines, SPEERSPITZE village selections, and GOLDSPEER vineyard and reserve bottlings. The house runs an award-winning Buschenschank, ranked among Styria's best by Falstaff 2026 with 96 points. Two wines entered SALON 2022, placing among Austria's finest. The Gelber Muskateller Südsteiermark DAC 2025 won at Vinaria. A guest house offers accommodation.
