Four Gates Winery has worked since 1988 from a south-facing slope in the Santa Cruz Mountains. Three and a half acres, unirrigated, certified organic by CCOF. Benyamin Cantz works with Chardonnay, Merlot, Pinot Noir, and Cabernet Franc, all estate bottled. The winery produces kosher wine, including Kosher for Passover expressions, alongside non-Mevushal selections. Merlot La Rochelle and Frère Robaire are among the wines produced.
