About Fairest Creature

Fairest Creature is a Napa Valley winery founded by Jayson Hu, who has a background in electrical engineering and a passion for premium wines. Originally from Nanjing, China, Hu moved to the San Francisco Bay Area and began importing Napa wines to China, introducing many brands to the fine wine market there. The winery focuses on high-quality wines crafted by renowned winemakers Philippe Melka, Benoit Touquette, and Thomas Brown, utilizing exceptional vineyard sites across Napa Valley.

The winery's portfolio includes a unique "mono winemaker" series, producing three distinct wines each year. Notable offerings include the Polyspline Cabernet Sauvignon, which showcases ripe fruit balanced with structure, and the Sine Fine Cabernet Sauvignon, known for its vibrant acidity and rich flavors. The Perihelios Cabernet Sauvignon is characterized by its intense fruit and bold texture, while the Three Bet Cabernet Sauvignon offers a bright and energetic profile.

Each bottle features a Chinese poem, reflecting Hu's cultural heritage. Fairest Creature wines are crafted for aging, with some recent vintages achieving high auction prices, highlighting their desirability among collectors. The winery does not currently offer public tastings.
