A family enterprise in Gols since 1551, Erich & Birgit Pittnauer tends 19 hectares across five vineyard sites, Altenberg, Alter Satz, Goldberg, Ungerberg, and Edelgrund. The soils are sand, clay, and gravel. Lorenz Pittnauer began bottling and direct marketing in the 1950s. The program splits 40 percent white wines and 60 percent red wines. Blaufränkisch, Cabernet Sauvignon, Chardonnay, and Gelber Muskateller move through the cellar separately. White wines ferment and age in stainless steel tanks. Red wines rest in large and small wooden barrels. The Mythos Pannonia 2023 won best Austrian wine at Frankfurt International Trophy among 3,367 submitted wines. Vinum Imperator 2022 received 92 points from Falstaff.
