About Durso Hills Winery
Eight miles south of Cherokee Pass in the rolling hills of the Mark Twain National Forest, Durso Hills is located in Marquand. Ron and Kay Durso started the winery in 2003. Erwin and Victoria Hansmann purchased it in 2011 and built a new 10,000-plus-square-foot facility in 2019. Hansmann, a gold medal winner, produces Norton, Chambourcin, Chardonel, Pinot Grigio, and Riesling, alongside fruit wines like Blackberry and Pineapple. The 2011 Norton Reserve Estate is among the portfolio. A full-service restaurant is available. Live entertainment runs Friday and Saturday from 6 to 9 p.m., and Sunday from 1 to 4 p.m.
