Draconis Vineyards, founded in 2004, sources fruit from the Mokelumne River AVA in Lodi. The program spans Pinot Noir, Zinfandel, Merlot, Petite Sirah, Chardonnay, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Syrah. Tastings happen at the Old Sugarmill in Clarksburg, where a $20 fee applies per person, waived with any bottle purchase. The house offers a release program with 12 or 18 bottles delivered annually at progressive discounts. Walk-ins are welcome. Parties of 6 or more require reservations.
