Domaine Rouchier

About Domaine Rouchier

Domaine Rouchier began in 2010 on 1.5 hectares in Saint-Jean-de-Muzols, in Ardèche. The work has been in conversion to organic agriculture since the start, with the first certified vintage arriving in 2013. A hectare planted in 2016 includes Viognier (25%), Marsanne (25%), and Syrah (50%). The cellar favors whole-bunch fermentation with indigenous yeasts, then 16 to 18 months in older oak. Until 2020, animal traction turned the soil. The program centers on AOC Saint Joseph red.
