About Domaine Roblin
Matthias and Emile Roblin tend 20 hectares scattered across roughly 40 parcels in Beaulieu-sur-Loire, the fourth generation to work the family domain at Château de Maimbray. Clay-limestone soils, Kimmeridgian and Portlandian in origin, anchor vines planted 87 percent Sauvignon Blanc and 13 percent Pinot Noir. The brothers farm without chemical fertilizers, herbicides, insecticides, or anti-rot treatments, and hold HVE level 3 certification since 2020. They experiment with biodynamic practices. The cellar works in stainless steel tanks, wooden tanks, and 600-liter barrels, producing exclusively Sancerre appellation wines. Majority white, with red and rosé in the portfolio. Cellar visits and tastings by appointment, Monday to Saturday.
