Domaine Porto Carras

About the winery

This Greek pioneer helped birth the country's modern wine scene with one of the first Cabernet Sauvignons, and the 475-hectare estate has been quietly racking up international awards ever since. Sprawling amphitheatrically across Sithonia's slopes, they're now farming organically and growing 27 varieties from Limnio to Sauvignon Blanc in limestone-shale soils that were scientifically designed back in the 1960s to do exactly that.
