Domaine Julien Sunier

About

Julien Sunier founded this domaine in 2008 in Villié-Morgon, beginning with 2.2 hectares and expanding to nine across three appellations. Morgon, Fleurie, and Régnié now anchor the program, all planted on granitic soils and farmed organically under Alpes contrôles certification. The work centers on Gamay, harvested by hand with sorting at the vineyard, then aged eight to ten months in oak. Wild Soul, Descente Libre, Régnié, Morgon, and Fleurie form the portfolio. In 2005, Sunier acquired la Ferme des Noisetiers, a ten-hectare property at 750 meters in Avenas.
