About Domaine Bechtold
Théo Bechtold and Jean-Marie Bechtold tend twelve hectares in Kirchheim, on the northern stretch of the Alsace wine route. The shift to organic farming began in 2004, with full certification arriving in 2007. Biodynamic practices followed in 2016. The program spans Gewurztraminer, Muscat, Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, Pinot Gris, and Auxerrois. The Crémant d'Alsace Brut Nature is made from Chardonnay, Pinot Gris, and Auxerrois, alongside the Pinot Noir Argentoratum and Gewurztraminer Fleur. The family cellar is located in Kirchheim.
