The fruit comes from vineyards scattered across Northern California, from Riesling in the tiny Cole Ranch AVA to 1890s-planted vines in Contra Costa County, and the vineyard name is the largest text on every bottle. In the cellar that means native-yeast fermentations, plenty of whole cluster in the reds, barrel-fermented whites and mostly neutral oak. There is no tasting room: the wines are released to the mailing list by allocation.
