About De Terra Vineyard & Wines of Somerville
Jerry Pentz began making wine in 2007, receiving his winery license in August 2014. That October, De Terra Vineyard & Wines of Somerville opened on 34 acres, with Teresa Pentz joining him in the cellar. The program centers on Concord, Muscadine, and French Hybrids, with Concord grapes sourced from Pennsylvania or upstate New York. Revival Red started as a seasonal Christmas wine before demand made it year-round. The portfolio includes Bonafide Red, Cedar Ridge Red, Ghost White, and Muscadine. De Terra is one of seven wineries on the Wine Trail of West Tennessee.
