About Dba Chateau Aux Arc
Altus, Arkansas. July 21st, 2001. Audrey House opened Chateau Aux Arc as the fifth winery to operate in the state since Prohibition, and the first and only to be owned and operated by a woman. She was the youngest winery owner in the world at the time. The program began with two wines, Chardonnay and Altage, both from Arkansas-grown fruit. The house continues to produce 100% Arkansas grown wines and wins multiple international awards each year. Cynthiana, the state grape, is part of the portfolio.
