About Clos Puy Arnaud
In Belvès-de-Castillon, Clos Puy Arnaud practices biodynamic viticulture across certified organic and biodynamic vineyards. Hand-harvested grapes arrive in small crates. The Grand Vin, which represents half of the annual 60,000-bottle production, ages in Burgundy barrels, Bordeaux barrels, demi-muids, and amphorae, with wood renewed at 10-15% yearly. Les Ormeaux ages in oak or earthenware containers including these same vessel types. The portfolio extends to Les Ormeaux, Silt, Bistrot, Le Rouge, and Le Rosé, the latter three made from organically certified fruit since 2012 and sulfited at 30 mg/L or less. A solitary elm, standing for more than 150 years on the property, marks the label. Recent recognition includes selections in the Guide des meilleurs vins de France 2025.
