About Château Rabaud Promis
Château Rabaud Promis sits on the hill Rabaud, where it has stood since the seventeenth century. A Premier Grand Cru Classé from the original 1855 Bordeaux classification, the estate produces sweet white wine in Sauternes. Victor Louis designed the facade. Raymond-Louis Lanneluc acquired the property in 1950, beginning a family stewardship that continues today under the Dejean family. The estate practices sustainable viticulture and preserves biodiversity. Visits and tastings are by appointment only, Monday to Friday from 9am to 12pm and 1.30pm to 4.30pm. The estate closes in August and from December 20th to January 5th.
