About

Founded in 1961, Chautauqua Lake Winery is New York's oldest continuously operating estate winery. The family operation began as a century-old fruit farm along the shores of Lake Erie in Jamestown. The winery produces Ruby Dry Rosé, crafted from estate-grown Chambourcin, and Passionate Peach. Ruby Dry Rosé earned Two Best of Class Awards at the 2026 Finger Lakes International Wine Competition. Visitors can tour the vineyard and taste in the tasting room.
