Chateau Thomas occupies an 1850s stable and carriage house in Plainfield, Indiana. Steve and Eloizabeth produce Sauvignon Blanc, Seyval Blanc, Concord, Chambourcin, Niagara, and Petite Sirah, alongside Gale's Viking Meade, based on a 900 AD Viking recipe, and Gale's Hard Cider at 7% abv. The pub-style tasting room offers complimentary tastings and serves hearth-baked breads, old world salamis, charcuterie, and craftsman cheeses. Most Saturday nights feature live traditional music including Celtic, Bluegrass and Americana, and jazz. Notable wines include Colonial Sack, a Colonial-style Sherry at 17% abv, and the Petite Sirah 2002.
