Washington's oldest winery, set on a wooded estate just outside Seattle in Woodinville. The grapes come from the sunny Columbia Valley to the east, but the chateau, gardens, and tasting rooms are here among the lawns and old trees. It's a gentle, walkable introduction to Washington wine, Riesling and Cabernet alike. A good first stop for the region.
