About Celler Mas Doix
Celler Mas Doix has worked the same ground in Poboleda since 1902. The vineyard sits on llicorella slate and clay-calcareous soils under a Mediterranean climate with continental influence and high thermal contrast between night and day. The program centers on Grenache and Carignan, with Macabeu for white work. Murmuri, a blend of ninety percent White Grenache and ten percent Macabeu from vines between ten and twenty-five years old, carries thirteen-point-one percent alcohol and five-point-three grams per liter acidity. The portfolio includes Salanques, Poboleda, Salix, and Doix. The 1902 Tossal d'en Bou 2023 is classified as Gran Vinya Classificada, Gran Cru, and the 1903 Coma de Cases 2023 is classified as Vinya Classificada, Cru. Food is available at the cellar.
