Castagna Vineyard is a certified biodynamic and organic wine estate located at 500 metres altitude in the foothills of the Australian Alps near Beechworth, Victoria. The vineyard grows five different clones of Syrah alongside Sangiovese, Nebbiolo, Viognier, and Chenin Blanc, using traditional winemaking methods with indigenous yeast fermentation and minimal interference. The estate focuses on expressing terroir through biodynamic farming practices that allow the minerality of the ancient granitic soil to shine through in the wines.
